Hello,
To get the post display as it’s on Metropolis theme demo, you will need to create a new page called “Blog”. It’s content can be empty as it won’t get displayed anyway.
Once you save the newly created page, go to “Settings -> Reading” and under “Posts page: ” select the newly created page, that is, “Blog” page.
Check out the “Blog” page and see if it displays the post thumbnails.
