Hello,

@import is a bad practice, please read http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes.

Child theme for Elvyre is included in Download package (Theme directory -> elvyre-child-theme.zip). You just need to upload it and install like any other theme.

If you use child theme, it doesn’t matter if you modify style.css or write your code in Custom CSS box.
