Hello,

The theme is blank in theme options in WordPress because there is no thumbnail image specified.

You cann specify thumbnail just by adding the image screenshot.png to the theme root folder.

Anyway, your child theme should work after activating it as the original theme did and loss of thumbnail does not affect its working condition.
